The issues with overcrowding in Spanish destinations and other locations were linked to "illegal rentals" instead of major companies.
There were appeals for governments to take action against cases where rental hosts operate without a required authorization, compliance documents, or proper tax records.

The message was clear: Owners should be accountable, become licensed, and comply with regulations.
